Logistics interoperability

GS1 standards for frictionless traceability

GS1 identifiers give every package, location and file a unique identity your systems understand, so information travels complete between WMS, TMS and documents.

Identification keys

GS1 keys for every element of your operation

Each identifier answers a concrete operational question: which product it is, where it is, which unit is moving or which file it belongs to.

GTIN (01)

Which product is it?

Identifies every trade item and its packaging levels.

GLN (414)

Where is it?

Pinpoints warehouses, docks and delivery points without ambiguity.

SSCC (00)

Which unit is moving?

Uniquely identifies every pallet or logistic unit.

GDTI (253)

Which file does it belong to?

Gives documents and physical files an identity for audits.

GSRN (8018)

Who is responsible?

Identifies the people or entities responsible for a process.

GCN (255)

Which coupon or asset is it?

Identifies coupons and vouchers across the chain.

Data carriers and events

Data carriers and events that connect your operation

GS1-128 encodes information on the label, QR Digital Link links it to the web and EPCIS records every movement event over time.

GS1-128: the logistics barcode

A single symbol carries several keys with their application fields, such as lot, expiry date or SSCC, ready to scan at the dock.

QR Digital Link: from package to online content

A QR code with the product URL gives access to traceability, specs or documents without relying on a proprietary format.

EPCIS: end-to-end event records

Every scan records what happened, where and when. That history is shared with ERPs and trading partners to audit the whole chain.

We are a GS1 Panama partner, working with the official GS1 standards organization in the country so every implementation meets the standard from the very first barcode.

Let's implement GS1 in your operation

We help you encode products, locations, packages and files, and connect that data to your systems.
